Well done, boys, you gave of your best and did well! Comhbhrón le leaideanna Chill Orglan! Next Tuesday (25th) beimid ag imirt in aghaidh bhuachaillí na Gaeltachta! This is the final! UNDER 16 FOOTBALL: No action until Town League starts! Idir an dá linn, boys, stay well, keep fit and practise your skills regularly! We eagerly await the Town League fixtures.
MINORS: Our minors fell to Dr Crokes in Round 2 of the County Championship in Connolly Park last Monday. After a not-so-good first half that had us only scoring 0-5 to their 2-11, our Rock boys made a great fighting effort sa dara leath and out-scored them by 0-4. A good comeback but, i ndeireadh na dála, we were defeated by the Killarney boys stronger scoring power on a final scoreline of 3-15 to 1-13. Our lads will rise again! That result eliminates us from the main competition but hope springs eternal as we still qualify for the Shield Competition which will be played after our final round game v Laune Rangers which takes place this Thursday in Killorglin. Squad: Conor O’Regan, Fionn Cotter, Darragh Lyons, Oran O’Donoghue, Mark Riordan, Ben Litchfield, David Hobbert, Paddy Lucid, Jayden Moriarty, Harry Murphy, Jack Diggin, Jay Sweeney, Jake Carmody, Haulie Cotter, Joe Barry, Denis Brassil, Nathan O’Conner, Sean Clifford, Barry Laide, David Aherne, Jayden O’Dowd, Ryan O’Carroll, Rory Lynch. An Charraig Abú!
