PEIL FAOI 11/12: (i) Our U12s took on St Pats last week. We played against their full U12 team with mostly U10/11 boys as a dozen of our U12 lads were as láthair. Despite everything, our warriors played brilliantly and showed the classic Rock attitude and fighting spirit. We played two games; we won one well with excellent teamwork, beautiful kick-passing and fierce determination.
The second game was a great battle and, even though we were behind by six or seven points at the final whistle, our brave boys never gave up!
It was a fantastic display of heart, effort and resilience; the coaches were extremely proud of the boys’ attitude.
