U14 girls North Kerry League Final Div 4 winners .
Ballymac 3-11 Duagh 2-7
Our U14s pulled off a great win tonight to finish the season on a high in Duagh this evening. A very even 1st half saw us level at half time 1-4 a piece , Aisling O keeffe getting 1-1 , Aobha Bolger 0-2 and Jasmine Roche 0-1 .
However we were facing the wind in 2nd half and went 4 points down after 10mins 2nd half . The Ballymac girls led by Aoife Ireland at centre back Sadie Lynch and Aisling playing themselves to a stand still , we played some brilliant attacking football and defended brilliantly too for the remainder of the game .
Millie Sheehan didn’t loose a kick out all night 100% success 👏, full back line of Aoibheann Joy , Sadie Murphy , Amy o Rourke and Cliona Brosnan were awesome . Lucy o Connor had a great 2nd half as had Katie Anna o Connor .
2 goals from Aobha in 2nd half cemented the result . Saoirse Brosnan and Leah Murphy were prominent too

U10s Go Games
Ballymac v St Pats Blennerville
Sixteen Ballymac players took part in two competitive matches against St Pats Blennerville in challenging conditions in Ballymac on Tuesday evening.
Despite the slippery conditions, the Ballymac players applied their skills well and showed great enthusiasm throughout both games. The team spirit was excellent, with everyone working hard and playing for each other.
As the season begins to draw to a close, it’s fantastic to see the players continuing to apply themselves so well. Particular emphasis was placed on their running game, work rate and commitment, which were evident throughout the evening.
A big thank you to St Pats Blennerville for travelling and providing two sporting and enjoyable games.
Well done to all 16 Ballymac players!
Eric Mason Tournament
Our Annual Eric Mason Memorial Blitz took place in Ballymacelligott on Saturday September 12th.
We welcomed 8 u12 teams from Kerry and Cork.
There was fantastic football on show throughout the day and more importantly there was fantastic memories made by the players.
Thanks to Adrian , Anna and Susan Mason for allowing us to hold an amazing day of football.
Many thanks to all the teams who participated and to all the volunteers in the background who made the day possible.

Ballymac U8 Girls LGFA
Saturday 19th September, our U8 girls travelled to Milltown-Castlemaine for the rescheduled final leg of our Lee Strand Kerry LGFA round robins of the year.
The girls played three competitive games in blustery conditions against our hosts and Kilcummin. Each game tested their skills right across the pitch, with every girl taking on different positions and showing just how well they can adapt, work together and get stuck in!
And that brings our games for the year to a close. Their coaches couldn’t be prouder of how far this group has come since April — the improvement, confidence, teamwork and love of the game has been brilliant to watch.
Our senior ladies of the future are definitely in the making!

Bons Secours Junior Premier Championship semi final
Ballymac 4-15 to Laune Rangers 1-8
A dominant display by the Ballymacelligott senior ladies resulted in them qualifying for their 3 final in row
The first 5 minutes gave an indication of what was to come with Rachel Creedon and Roisin Rahilly goaling , Aine Hasset did reply for Rangers .
At the 1st quarter point Ballymac had stretched out the lead by 2-6 to 2 points , a Cora Savage brace of points and a goal from Kate Collins left the half time score 3-8 to 0-5 .
A yellow card for Ballymac No 3 Una Morrisey had minimal impact on the game as Ballymac had such control on the game.
Kate O Connor and Sarah Scanlon entered the game for Ballymac for the 2nd half and Ballymac kept the scoreboard ticking over with points from Cora Savage , Sarah Scanlon and Roisin Rahilly .
An Ailbhe Clifford goal on the 53rd minute for Laune Rangers stemmed the tide but this was answered by a brilliant finish by Roisin Rahilly .in the 58th minute. Sarah Scanlon finished off the scoring with a point in injury time .
Payer of the match : Cora Savage and Roisin Rahilly stood out and drove Ballymac on to victory .

Ballymac girls played in the Carmel O’Conner blitz in Castleisland on Saturday. The girls played 3 great games against Castleisland, Austin Stacks and Firies. On Sunday they played Laune Rangers at half time in the senior ladies game tomorrow conclude a busy weekend. Fantastic effort from all and great to the improvement over the year. Well done girls.

Ballymac 5-14 Knock/Brosna 3-7
A brilliant final performance from our U14 boys in perfect conditions in Castleisland.
From the throw-in it was a dominant display from start to finish. Early points from Dara Leen, Conor Mangan, Scott Fitzmaurice and Jacob Shott got us going, and goals from Daithí O’Connor, Tom O’Neill and Jack O’Connell put us in a commanding position.

The second half was all about the backs. Tadhg Brick was outstanding, with Seán Ireland, Shane O’Connell, Jayden Roche, Micheál Scanlon and Gearóid Jones covering and breaking up play as Knock/Brosna came out and made a real battle of it.
Oisín Priestley in goal was superb – outstanding saves and brilliant decision making. On the counter Seán Culloty and Mikey Brosnan kept Knock/Brosna busy, while Cuan Maguire and Darragh Fealy shut up shop and defended everything.

big thank you to everyone who supported the Ballymacelligott GAA Lotto this week. Your continued support makes a huge difference to our club and helps us to keep our teams and facilities going from strength to strength.
This week’s lotto draw was conducted online on Friday, 18th September 2026.
The numbers drawn were: 2, 7, 14 and 17.
Unfortunately, there was no winner of the €15,000 jackpot this week.
However we had four players who matched three numbers!!!
