REEN Financial Services is set to exceed €150 million in client assets under management following the acquisition of Eoin Liston Financial Services Ltd.

The transaction was completed in February 2026. With roots stretching back 47 years, the business was founded in 1979 as Murphy & Sheehy Insurances at 20 Denny Street, Tralee.

John Reen joined the firm as Commercial Manager in 2007, and in 2013 the strategic decision was taken to expand into financial services, providing clients with a genuine one-stop-shop for both their insurance and financial planning needs.

Most recently, a 2024 reorganisation saw the business formalise its structure into two distinct entities: Reen Financial Services Ltd., focusing on financial planning and advisory services, and Reen Insurances Ltd., dedicated to general insurance solutions.
