A DANCE will be held in The Meadowlands Hotel in February to help local ladies with their fundraising efforts for the Irish Guide Dogs For The Blind.

Six members of the Tralee divisional branch of the association are heading to Spain in August to walk part of the Camino de Santiago to raise funds for the national charity.

Margaret O’Shea, Anne Condon, Joan Hill, Josephine Flood, Angela Moloney and Lou Irwin will be covering a total of 127km starting in Baiona to Santiago de Compostela.

This will be the ladies third fundraising trip abroad and the ladies have raised many thousands of euro for the Irish Guide Dogs so far.

On February 10, the ladies are promising a fantastic night of fun at a fundraising dance in The Meadowlands Hotel with Aisling O’Brien of Radio Kerry as MC.

Music will come from ‘NightLife’, there will be a raffle and loads of spot prizes on the night and finger food of course. Tickets at €15 are available from The Meadowlands Hotel, from the ladies themselves or at the door on the night.
