Photo by Dermot CreanTHE Rose Hotel presented a cheque for an incredible €9,561 to Kerry Mental Health Association (KMHA) following the success of its Fall Fashion Show, which took place at The Rose Hotel on August 14.
The hugely successful evening welcomed over 160 guests for a night of fashion, entertainment and fundraising, with money raised through ticket sales, a raffle and donations on the night.
Mark Sullivan, General Manager of The Rose Hotel, said: “We were absolutely delighted with the success of our Fall Fashion Show and, most importantly, to be able to present €9,561 to Kerry Mental Health Association. The generosity and support from everyone who attended was incredible, and we are very grateful to our guests, sponsors and everyone who helped make the evening such a success. It was a wonderful night, but knowing that the event has raised such a significant amount for KMHA makes it all the more special.”

A special thank you was expressed to Horan’s Health stores, who generously sponsored the Best Dressed competition and provided goodie bags for guests on the night. Their support helped make the evening such a memorable occasion.

It was a wonderful, professionally-run and thoroughly enjoyable event. Kerry Mental Health Association is most grateful to Mark Sullivan, Aisling Foley, the Henggeler Family, The Rose Hotel staff and our own volunteers for their support on the night. Every euro raised will help fund therapeutic activities at mental health day centres, transport for people accessing mental health services and mental health awareness projects in our communities.”
