IF you’re looking for a fashion fix this weekend while helping out a vital facility for a north Kerry village, then this might be for you.
There will be fun, fashion and music at St Columba’s Centre in Kiflynn for a special fundraiser featuring style from many Tralee stores this Friday night, December 2.
Shops taking part include Paco, Celsius, Jasmine, Pamela Scott, Annbury’s, Carrig Donn and That’s Perfect.

“It’s a really old building and it’s very hard to heat, so the system needs to be upgraded,” said one of the organisers, Niamh Abeyta. “The centre is used every day of the week. There’s a parent and toddler group meeting, pilates, yoga, HIIT classes, Ladybird and Brownies use it. It’s used by the whole community.”
Guests will be warmly welcomed with a festive mulled wine/soft drinks reception and festive mince pies.
They will also be spot prizes and a Best Dressed Lady award sponsored by Jasmine, while local musicians will bring the music. All funds raised will be in aid of updating the heating system in St Columba’s Community Centre.
Doors open at 7.15pm and the fashion show starts at 8pm. Tickets at €20 can be bought from Paco Tralee and Pamela Scott stores or by calling Maureen on 0879893847.
