THE Office of Public Works (OPW) today announced that admission to heritage sites across the country will be free for all visitors under 18 throughout August 2026.
Sites in Kerry that will be free to Under 18s include Derrynane House, Ardfert Cathedral, The Blasket Centre and Ross Castle.
The initiative aims to encourage young people and families to discover Ireland’s rich cultural and historical heritage, while helping to make these experiences more accessible by removing financial barriers.
