Kerry 1916 PlanTRALEE Library will host a fascinating afternoon for anyone with an interest in Irish history tomorrow.

Starting from noon, there’s a chance to hear recordings of those who took part in the 1916 Rising.

The event is part of the 1916 to 2016 and Beyond project which also features performances of poems by WB Yeats and Eva Gore Booth on Easter, 1916 as well as poems by Transition Year students from Tarbert Comprehensive.

It’s free entry and all welcome.

The project is part of the Kerry 2016 Commemorations and is co-funded by Kerry County Council 2016 and Ireland 2016.
