What better way to shed those pounds gained over Christmas than signing up for our 10k/5k on the 27th Jan? Registration can be made online by visiting our website and following the link from there – the cost is €20 and a great way to focus the mind for 2019.

Charlie’s Bar & Bistro:
Charlie’s bar and bistro is the ideal venue for meeting up with friends or renewing old acquaintances – whether it’s breakfast, lunch or an evening meal you can be guaranteed good food in convivial surroundings at the right price!

The outpouring of shock and grief following the tragic death of Dr Martin Lawlor has been keenly felt within the club by those who had the privilege of getting to know him and his sister Susan when we held an information night last year on mental health in sport.

Dr Martin was a co founder of State of Mind Ireland and one of the foremost advocates of mental health awareness in Ireland – he was a brilliant, caring compassionate man who firmly believed that education and intervention were key tools in destigmatising the issues around mental health in Ireland.

To his wife Helen and family, his parents Jerry & Noreen and to Susan, John & Diarmuid we extend our heartfelt sympathies at this time – suaimhneas síoraí na bhflaitheas dó.
