Senior Men

Kerins O’Rahillys 0-17 | Rathmore 3-08

Our Senior Men secured a hard-fought and dramatic draw at Strand Road on Saturday evening in Round 4 of the County League Division 1. Despite trailing significantly in the second half to a clinical Rathmore side, the Blues showed immense resilience.

A massive 12-point haul from Darragh O’Connor kept us in the fight, before a monster two-point strike from Tom Hoare deep into injury time snatched a well-deserved point. A special mention to Ruairi Kennedy, who put in a solid performance in goal on his Senior County League debut.

Kerins O’Rahillys B 2-09 | Keel B 2-17

Our B team was also in action at Strand Road over the weekend, facing off against Keel B in Round 4 of the McCarthy Insurance Group County League Division 7A. Unfortunately, despite a hard-fought effort and finding the back of the net twice, the lads fell short against a strong Keel side on the day.

Senior ladies

Senior Ladies

Our Senior Ladies are flying! They clocked up a comprehensive victory over Kilcummin on Sunday to make it three wins out of three in the Donal Curtin League Division 3, keeping us top of the table.

Bathed in brilliant Ballyrickard sunshine, we dominated midfield from the throw-in. Our forwards were in devastating form, netting a succession of early goals that put the game out of reach by half-time.

With some regulars missing, it was fantastic to call up several of our Minors to Senior duty, all of whom got game time and acquitted themselves brilliantly. We were also boosted by the return of Keelan Coffey from injury, who had a great game.

The dedication of this group was typified by Emma McCarthy, who toggled out for us on Sunday despite a hectic weekend as a contestant in the Kerry Rose. Well done, Emma! Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Eabha Murphy, who had to withdraw in the second half with an ankle injury. Let’s keep up this winning streak!

County Representation

Primary Game: A massive congratulations to our U14 ladies player Ellie May Flahive, who has been selected to represent Kerry in the Primary Game at half-time during the Kerry vs Clare Munster semi-final on Saturday, April 25th. Ellie May is a fantastic player, and this is a very proud moment for her, her family, and everyone at the club. Enjoy every second of the experience! 💚💛

U16 Ladies: Hard luck to Taylor-Kate Leane, Lexi Keane, Sophie Constable, and the entire Kerry U16 squad and management who lost out to Cork in the Munster U16 A Final in Banteer over the weekend (3-09 to 1-11). You did your club proud.

U20 Men: Commiserations to our clubmen and the Kerry U20 squad, who unfortunately lost out to Cork in the Munster Championship this past week.
