Senior Ladies Championship
Our Senior Ladies brought down the curtain on their 2026 campaign with a heartbreaking one-point defeat to Dingle at Strand Road, finishing 2-8 to 2-9.
After producing a superb opening half to hold a six-point lead at the interval, two quick second-half goals brought Dingle right back into contention. The remainder of the half was intensely fought, with heroic defending at both ends, but the visitors edged over the line by the minimum.
Despite the result, the team leaves with huge positives looking ahead to next season as our seniors prepare for Division 2 football.
Huge credit goes to every player and mentor for their unwavering commitment and effort all year. The club sends best wishes for speedy recoveries to Kate Kerins, who picked up an ankle injury during the game, and to Kelly Fitzgerald, who was also sidelined recently through injury. Enjoy the well-earned break until training resumes in January!
