A KILLARNEY beautician is taking a leap for the Kerry Mental Health Association (KMHA) next month.
Laura Courtney is doing a skydive to raise funds for KMHA on on Sunday, June 28 in honour of her uncle who passed away in January due to mental health struggles.
Laura, who was at Ardfert Airfield recently to launch the event, said the skydive is in support of those fighting unseen battles, and any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to Laura and her family.

“His loss has deeply affected our family, and I’m doing a skydive in his honour to turn that grief into something positive. I’m raising funds for Kerry Mental Health Association, who provide vital support and services for people struggling with their mental health in our community.
“This jump is for him — and for anyone who may be fighting battles we cannot see. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much. Thank you for your support,” added Laura.
