Oisin Maunsell.

Kerry Minors    We wish Oisin Maunsell and the Kerry Minor Football Team the best of luck on Tuesday evening as they take on Cork in the first round of the Munster Championship in Austin Stack Park. The Na Gaeil Club is very proud to see one of their star players captain a Kerry team.

Christmas Greetings   We wish everybody involved in Na Gaeil: officers, coaches, mentors, players, parents, patrons and visitors to our club a very happy, healthy and peaceful Christmas.

Virtual Race Night    Our Virtual Race Night took place on Friday last and was a resounding success. It went off without a hitch due to the great work done by our hard working Race Committee.

Great credit has to go to Terry McEneaney, Roisín Donnellan, Cathy Carey, Donal Lucey Tim Lynch Snr. and many more who worked tirelessly over the last six weeks to bring you our first ever virtual race night.

Our technical team of Brian O’Shea, Alan Cantwell and Denis Moriarty did a superb job in the production side of things and left no stone unturned to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the night.

Denis Sugrue did a great job as MC and chairperson Tim Lynch Jnr. was on hand to interview club members and players both past and present including Stefan Okunbor in Australia.

The support we received from our members and the wider community was phenomenal. We would like to thank everybody that purchased a horse.

The parents of our under-age players gave us great support as did all of our club members, relatives and friends. We extend a big thank you to the businesses in our community and further afield that sponsored races and included advertisements in our Race Program. We really appreciate your support especially in these difficult times.

Clubhouse Bar   The clubhouse bar will be open Friday next December 18th right through to Christmas Eve to all our members from 6.30pm to 11pm for food and drinks. Food purchase is a requirement and a time limit of 1hour 45 minutes applies as per guidelines. Please note that booking is essential and numbers are limited.  Phone Jackie on 086 195 8586.

Kerry Hurlers    We are very proud of how our Kerry hurlers performed in the final of the Joe McDonagh in Croke Park on Sunday.

Unfortunately it wasn’t to be their day but they have made great strides this season and have brought hurling in the county to a new level. We wish them all the best for the 2021 season and hopefully they will be back again at headquarters.

Clothes Collection There is now a Clothes Collection Bin situated in Na Gaeil car park for use by all members of the public.
