Recycling: A huge thank you to Louis Byrne for allowing Na Gaeil to benefit from the Re-Turn machine at his Spar shop in Oakpark. Bring your empty bottles and cans along to the shop and select the “Donate to Na Gaeil GAA” option at the machine.
Wedding Bells: Congratulations to our senior player Jack Barry and Laura Daly who got married last Friday.
Farewell: Everyone in Na Gaeil would like to wish Fr. Padraig Walsh every success as he moves from St. Brendan’s Church to his new parish, Castleisland next week.
Pop-Up Gaeltacht: Yesterday (Sunday) at Na Gaeil Abrew the club hosted a very successful Pop-Up Gaeltacht. Those present were treated to some beautiful Irish music & singing. The brilliant weather contributed to a wonderful hour’s entertainment. Well done to Cáit and her crew for organizing the event.
Kerry Senior Men: Good luck to Diarmuid O’Connor and the Kerry team when they face Dublin in the All-Ireland semi-final next Sunday at 4pm in Croke Park.
Kerry Senior Ladies: Well done to the Kerry Ladies on their win over Meath last Saturday in Austin Stack Park in the All-Ireland quarter-final. They will now play Dublin in the All-Ireland final on Saturday July 18th.
Kerry u18 Ladies: Next Thursday in Mallow at 7.30pm Kerry will take on Laois in the Ladies Minor B championship semi-final. Good luck to Avril Doyle and her team.

Fé 8 Buachaillí: The U8s group enjoyed a beautiful Sunday morning in Killeen. The group practiced their skills and played two games. The group are travelling to Austin Stacks tonight (Monday) at 6:15pm for Go-Games.

McCarthy Insurance Group Men’s Senior Football County League Division 3: The final round of the county league, Round 11, took place yesterday in Killeen and our lads faced Castlegregory knowing that they had already gained promotion to Division 2 for next year.
Na Gaeil were missing a host of starters due to hurling commitments and a recent wedding so a few lads were able to make their senior debuts.
On a beautiful day and in perfect conditions a Liam Cooper point in the first minute got our lads off to a good start but that was the only time Na Gaeil led in the match. Ominously the visitor’s first score was a goal and by the 10th minute they led by 2-3 to 1-3, debutant Fionn Daly providing the finish for our green flag.
A further goal in the 21st minute for Castlegregory and a flurry of points pushed them out to a 3-8 to 1-7 halftime lead. With the aid of the slight breeze in the second half Kieran O’Connor, Mark Lynch and Conor Lucey all kicked 2-pointers to leave Na Gaeil training by just 1 point after 12 minutes.
However Castlegregory pulled away in the final quarter, adding 3 goals as the Na Gaeil challenge faded. Final score: Na Gaeil 1-19, Castlegregory 6-18.
Senior Ladies Co. League Div. 1: Unfortunately last Monday night our senior ladies missed out on the chance to reach the league final when they were beaten by MKL Gaels in Keel. Tonight (Monday) they will be at home to Castleisland Desmonds in the Shield semi-final. Throw-in at 7.30pm.
Men’s U21 Co. Championship: The St. Brendan’s Board u21 team defeated West Kerry last Tuesday night in round 2 and will now play Kenmare Shamrocks in Spa at 7pm tomorrow (Tuesday) in the county semi-final.
Na Gaeil Cycle Club/Ar do Rothar!: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.
