Campa Samhraidh Peile 2026: That’s a wrap on Campa Samhraidh Peile Na Gaeil 2026! What a fantastic week of football, fun, friendship and sunshine! Bhí áthas orainn fáilte a chur roimh our own Diarmaid Ó Conchúir, who shared some great advice and encouragement with all our young footballers. We were also delighted that our own coach Avril Doyle brought along the All-Ireland B Minor Cup, corn ‘na raibh páirt lárnach ag Avril ina bhuachan i mbliana. Comhghairdeas leat Avril.
Agus ansin tháinig veain an uachtar reoite! Safe to say it was one of the biggest hits of the week! Amazing how quickly tired legs can run when ice cream is involved!!! To finish off a wonderful camp, every camper received their own football to take home ionas gur féidir leo leanúint ortbu ag cleachtadh sa bhaile. .Lá Spraoi: Thanks to everyone who made our Lá Spraoi a great success on Sunday. The kids had a ball! And the adults too!
Fé 8 Buachaillí: The U8s boys travelled to John Mitchels on Sunday morning. Against strong competition the boys steadied themselves and once we improved on our kick outs and our defensive marking, improvements were seen and we held our own. Well done lads. Thanks to players, parents and coaches for making it happen. Training continues on Thursday evening.
Senior Mens Club Championship: Good luck to our senior mens team who will host Milltown/Castlemaine in the Kerry Petroleum senior club championship next Saturday at 4pm.
Senior Ladies Championship: Next Sunday in Killeen our senior ladies will open their county championship campaign with a home game against Clounmacon. Throw-in at 12pm.
Rose Cup: Na Gaeil and Kerins O’Rahillys will jointly host the 2026 Bon Secours (u13 boys) Rose Cup next Saturday. First game in Killeen is due to start at 10.30am.
Na Gaeil Cycle Club/Ar do Rothar!: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.
