Scór: Congratulations to Helen Sugrue who was successful in the Aithriseoracht in the Munster semi-final of Scór Sínsear last Saturday in Pallasgreen. She will now represent Kerry in the Munster Final in Newport, Co. Tipperary next Saturday. Hard luck to our sketch group who unfortunately didn’t get through on the night despite putting in a great performance.

Scór: Scór is very much a ’niche’ activity within Na Gaeil. Of course we’re first & foremost a football club, but Scór is the cultural arm of the GAA and is a really great thing to be involved in – especially for kids. It gives them confidence & is good fun! If you’re reading this & think you might like your child to be involved, please contact Margaret at 086 0855008. Or better again, if you’re a parent with maybe something to offer to our small but enthusiastic Scór committee, please get in touch….

Lidl Ladies National League: Commiserations to the Kerry Ladies, especially our Na Gaeil girls, who lost to Armagh in the Lidl Ladies National League Division 1 final in Croke Park yesterday.

Kerry U20s: Best wishes to Jack Doyle and the Kerry u20’s next Wednesday night in Round 1 of  Phase 2 of the Munster u20 Championship against Clare in Quilty at 7pm.

U5 Training: Under 5s had their last indoor session yesterday morning….great session and great numbers, with great improvement on kicking and catching.

U7 Training: Our U7’s group held their first outdoor session yesterday morning. Massive improvements within the group this week. The kids played a number of games highlighting their skills. Keep up the great work.

U11 Boys Training: Our under 11 boys had another good session yesterday in the MTU. Great skill on display and plenty of improvements being made. Well done boys.

Minor Co. League: Our u17 boys team lost to St. Michaels Foilmore/Skellig Rangers last Thursday in their final group game and as a result they will play Firies tonight (Monday) in the Co. League Division 4 semifinal. Throw-in is at 6.30pm.

Senior Men: Last Friday night under lights in Listowel our depleted seniors came up against a very strong Listowel Emmets team. Emmets played with the wind in the first half and unfortunately it was one-way traffic as they raced into a 2-9 to 0-1 lead by halftime.

A free from Mark Lynch being our only score of the half. The second half followed a similar pattern with Listowel dominating in most areas and they ran out comfortable winners. Final score: Listowel 4-11, Na Gaeil 0-4.
