IT was another special day for St Pat’s GAA Club on Sunday as their family fun day was well supported.
The day started with the second Tony O’Donoghue memorial walk at 12 noon followed by great fun and games at the GAA grounds.
“It’s an annual event now,” said Andrea O’Donoghue, daughter of the late Tony. “His anniversary was yesterday and it’s still a bit raw, but it’s for palliative care and it’s a great cause. We’ve a big crowd here which is fantastic,” said Andrea.
Volunteers provided refreshments on a day which showed the strength of the club and community.
