THERE was an impressive turnout at Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí on Friday night for a special night of drama.
Months of rehearsals paid off for the Transition Year students who staged ‘All’s Well That Ends Well?’ in the school assembly area.
Part of a trilogy of plays written by playwright Mary Quirke of Qwerkkreations, 17 TY students performed while amazing work was done behind the scenes by the students in costumes and props and PR and Marketing.

The play, performed in English, starred Kayla Ní Chonchúir as Audrey and Dan Ó Maoldomhnaigh as Davy. Audrey has recently had a baby and is keen to expand her family, her mother Imelda (Rebecca Ní Neachtáin), a local social climber, has other ideas.
Davy’s hen pecked father Raymond’s (Ruairí Ó Loingsigh) health takes a turn for the worse, or has it? The incompetent undertakers Paddy (Iarla Ó hAiniféin) and Johnny (Paschal Ó Buachalla) have it all under control.
