PHOTOS: Awards For Three Gala Stores In Tralee Area

FOUR Gala Retail convenience stores from Kerry have been awarded the Gala Award for excellence in retail at the 2023 Gala Annual Conference, which took place at The Great Southern Hotel in Killarney recently.

The Kerry stores that received the Gala Excellence Awards at the event were Clifford’s Gala, Oakpark, Clifford’s Gala, Mounthawk, O’Shea’s Gala, Blennerville and Daly’s Gala, Waterville.

Clifford’s Gala, Mounthawk was also awarded with ‘Best Chilled Retailer 2023’ and O’Shea’s Gala, Blennerville, was named ‘2023 Brand Champion’ at the evening reception.

The conference marked a celebration of 25 years in business for the Gala Retail Group, marking the achievements of the Group and its retailers.

Presented to stores that are deemed ‘outstanding’ following a comprehensive and independent assessment process, the Gala Excellence Awards recognise quality in retailing throughout the Gala Group.

Speaking at the awards, CEO of Gala Retail, Gary Desmond, congratulated the winning stores for their continuous dedication and excellence in retailing: “The Gala Excellence awards recognise excellence in retailing across the entire Gala Group and we offer our congratulations to all of the Kerry stores who have been recognised as outstanding in the field of convenience retailing, especially in the Gala Group’s 25th year in business.” Scroll down for photos…
