A COLD crisp morning provided perfect conditions for a bit of exercise on St Stephen’s Day, while also raising money for a great cause.
The annual Bill Kirby Memorial Walk in aid of the Kerry Hospice Foundation attracted the biggest crowd in years.
Organised every year by Michael ‘Fox’ O’Connor, the traditional St Stephen’s Day walk has raised hundreds of thousands of euro for charities since 1999.

Fox thanked everyone for turning up and remembered all those who have passed away over the past year. He had a special mention for the late Ciss O’Connor who helped out collecting on St Stephen’s Day over the years.
