CBS The Green Tralee clinched the top spot at the ISTA Senior Science Quiz held on Thursday evening at the South Campus of Munster Technological University.
Karim Abusamra, Samuel Regan and Tom Stuart, representing the Tralee school just outshone 17 other teams to claim the coveted 1st place.
Their performance has earned them the honour of representing Kerry at the national finals, scheduled to take place at Trinity College Dublin on Saturday, December 2.

Congratulations were extended by the Kerry ISTA not only to the students but also to their teacher, Áine Knightly, whose guidance played a role in their success.
The competition was fierce, with Mercy Mounthawk Tralee securing the second position and ISK Killorgin claiming third place. The event showcased the high level of scientific knowledge and talent among students in the Kerry region.
In total, 18 teams from schools across Kerry participated in the quiz. The organizers of this event were Maria Steinborn from Killarney Community College and Áine Knightly from CBS The Green Tralee kindly sponsored by Kerry Group. Scroll down for photos…
