PRESENTATION Secondary School Tralee marked the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Presentation Congregation with a celebratory Mass held in the school on Monday.

Presentation Sisters from across the county, as well as from Nano Nagle Place in Cork, joined the school community for this special occasion.

Their lifelong dedication to education and service within their communities was warmly acknowledged and celebrated.

The Presentation Order was founded on Christmas Eve 1775 by Nano Nagle, together with Mary Ann Collins, Elizabeth Burke, and Mary Fouhy.

Their mission was to educate the poor and marginalised during Penal times. From the dark lanes of Cork City, the Congregation grew to become a global presence, now spanning every continent.

This anniversary provided a fitting opportunity to honour a remarkable legacy rooted in education, justice and care for others, a legacy that Presentation Secondary School Tralee is proud and privileged to continue today. Scroll down for photos…
