THE annual Christmas Fair at Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn was another super success on Sunday as hundreds of parents and children visited the school hall.
There were raffles, an auction, face painting, nail-painting, milk shakes, pancakes, goodies, home baking and a Christmas sing along with Chris White suppling the music.
Christmas wreaths, centre pieces and class calendars sold well, while Santa also paid a visit to the fair which had to be cancelled for the past couple of years because of Covid.

“There’s a great buzz and we’re delighted to welcome people back,” said Principal Cáit Uí Chonchúir. “We’ve had great support from the school community and local businesses. We’ve about 50 hampers to raffle,” said Cáit, who was attending her last Christmas fair as Principal as she is retiring at the end of the year.
A presentation was made to Càit on behalf of the Parents Association, parents, guardians and the students of Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn wishing her the very best in her retirement. Scroll down for photos…
