THE fifth annual Wander Wild Festival in Killarney has been hailed an outstanding success, with a greatly expanded programme of 153 events over the weekend — an increase from 120 last year.
Strong pre-festival demand saw many events sell out in advance, while the good weather over the weekend contributed to a surge in last-minute bookings.
Now firmly established as Ireland’s leading outdoor, culture and wellness festival, Wander Wild attracted an estimated 5,000 attendees to Killarney, with free events around the festival’s vibrant town-centre Basecamp zone adding to its programme of ticketed events over the weekend.
