THE achievements of Leaving Cert students from Mercy Mounthawk who received excellent results this year were recognised at an annual event in the school on Saturday.
Eighteen students achieved over 600 points in the State Exams this year with the school having 38% of students achieving over 500 points and 10% over 600 points.
Many of the students returned to the school with their families to receive special awards for their achievements.

The students who achieved over 600 points were; Jennifer Slattery, Keelin O’Mahony, Paula Holmes, Tara Kilgallen, Aoife O’Rourke, Lena Daly, Aoife Kearns, Shannon Dennehy, Coren Hughes, Fiachra O’Connor, Donal O’Sullivan, Fionán Diggin, Sean Hill, Rhea Lukose, Adam Dineen, Aine O’Shea, Aileen Lynch and Róise O’Donnell.
Eight Leaving Cert Applied students were also honoured for achieving a distinction in the exams. They were Hannah Rigney, Shayma Al Mehri, Kellis Coffey, Shane O’Driscoll, Darragh Guerney, Jack McBride, Caitlin McBride and Michael Burke. Scroll down for photos…
