IT was a cold morning but spirits were high yet again for the eighth Santa 5k Run on Sunday where hundreds of people set off from the Wetlands.
This year the charity to benefit was the Jack and Jill Foundation and it was clear that thousands of euro would be raised thanks to the large crowd present.
Nearly everyone made a great effort in dressing in festive attires with elves, Santas and reindeers taking on the route before coming back for refreshments in the Wetlands with all receiving a special medal for their efforts.
Another successful Santa 5k then, which is organised annually in memory of Fiona Moore, of Caherslee who passed away in 2013 and raises much needed funds for deserving children’s charities. Scroll down for photos…
