Mounthawk Montessori School & Busy Bees Nursery in Tralee was delighted to welcome its new class of 2026 and their families—marking the arrival of the school’s 28th cohort of children.
The special ‘First day’ welcome session gave the children and their families an opportunity to meet their teachers, (led by Helena Wallace Dowling & Katie O Sullivan) , explore the classrooms and gardens, and experience Mounthawk’s award-winning Reggio Emilia and Montessori-inspired learning environment as well as the Outdoor Casa Dei Bambini.
The children enjoyed a joyful morning of discovery, creativity and play. They explored the thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, met new friends and became familiar with the caring teachers who will support them throughout their early-learning journey.
