THE Kerry School of Music & Performing Arts in Tralee was the venue on Monday for a  celebration of Polish Constitution Day (May 3rd), Polish Flag Day, and Polish Diaspora Day.

This was the first celebration of its kind in Kerry. It was a wonderful day of Polish–Irish friendship, bringing together residents of Tralee and Killarney in a spirit of unity, culture, and shared values.

The event was attended by special guests, including the Mayor of Tralee, Terry O’Brien, Deputy Mayor Angie Baily, and Pa Daly TD.

A moving part of the programme were performances by children from the Polish School in KIllarney.

They recited poems expressing their connection both to Poland – their country of origin – and to Ireland, the country where they live and grow up, often having been born here.

The programme also featured a wonderful concert by talented musicians from Poland, adding a special artistic dimension to the event. Scroll down for photos…
