THERE was a fantastic turnout from the school community and beyond at the O’Brennan NS fundraising night at the dogs on Friday night.
The occasion doubled up as the school’s annual Fun Day so there was loads of entertainment for the children including face painting and a bouncy castle.
For the grown-ups there was a Best Dressed Lady sponsored by PACO won by Mary Bowler, a Best Dressed Man by Celsius Menswear won by Gary Whelan and a chance to meet up socially with members of the school community.

Principal Michelle White was delighted with the way the night turned out. “It’s fantastic, we didn’t expect it to be so successful even though tickets sales were strong.
“It’s great because we’re fundraising for the upkeep of the school and next year we’ll have eight separate classes for the first time,” added Michelle. Scroll down for photos…
