FAMILIES arrived to Our Lady and St Brendan’s Church on Saturday morning for a very special occasion for young boys and girls.
It was First Holy Communion Day for the second class pupils from Scoil Eoin Balloonagh and teachers Fiona Sheehan, Nora O’Sullivan and Siobhan Daly had them well prepared to receive the sacrament.
Fr Padraig Walsh was the celebrant for three separate ceremonies but the sun was shining for all of the families as they arrived and departed. Scroll down for photos…
