NOW it feels like Christmas!
The rain cleared on Saturday afternoon (for the most part) as families gathered in the Square for a wonderful afternoon of entertainment to kick off the festive season in Tralee.
Dave Rath got the ball rolling with some jazz music followed by The Oliver Hurley School of Musical Theatre Senior Choir and then an appearance from the man himself, Santa Claus.

Brian Hurley kept the fun going with a children’s disco before the official turning on of the Christmas lights with Mayor of Tralee Mikey Sheehy, All-Ireland winning captain Joe O’Connor and Santa Claus.
The people of Tralee could then marvel at the lights in The Square, the Mall, Denny Street and around the town which surely are the envy of the county. Scroll down for photos…
