“After a wonderfully successful year for the club on all fronts, it just fun get together,” said Seamus Cadogan of Tralee Parnells.
“We’re the youngest GAA club in the country and we’re unique in the sense that we only play hurling and camogie and only up to minor level.”

But what about the prospect of a senior team in years to come?
“Well we’re going to walk before we learn to run. We have to wait and see. This is the first year we’ve fielded a minor team and now, to some extent, we’re at a crossroads and our minor players will have to decide where to go next so we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds,” said Seamus.
There was loads of spot prizes on the night and Seamus was promising an interesting night for those present as we left them to get quizzical. Scroll down for photos…
