The Arts Office in Kerry County Council worked with VAI to develop a programme that will support Kerry artists.
The Curator Conversation: Aoife Banks – Kerry Arts Office will be hosted online at 5pm Thursday, November 9.
The session will take approximately 75 minutes and will introduce Aoife Banks, the current Curator and Programming Coordinator of Luan Gallery.
Her curatorial practice is rooted in the exploration of visual, social, and political cultures through a queer, decolonial praxis.
At the end of the month, on Thursday, November 30, Introducing Co. Kerry (Visual practice needs and networking) will take place at 6pm at Grilse Gallery, Killorglin.
This in-person event will explore current visual arts practice needs and will be led by curators, the Arts Office, and Emer Ferran of VAI.
Both events are free to Kerry-based artists. Booking is essential. For more information about the events and how to register, please visit the VAI website (www.visualartists.ie)
