St Brendan’s Basketball Chairman Fergal O’Sullivan with young members looking forward to the Night At The Dogs Fundraiser and Awards night this Friday.ST Brendan’s Basketball Club is looking forward to its upcoming “Night at the Dogs” on this Friday, May 1.
The event promises to be one of the highlights of the club calendar and will also serve as the club’s annual awards night, where players from the Academy, inclusive programme, and all boys’ and girls’ teams will be honoured for their efforts and achievements throughout the season.
A special highlight on the night will be the presence of the club’s Senior Men’s team from 2016, marking ten years since their memorable National Cup victory.

That success proved to be a turning point for the club, acting as the springboard for a return to Superleague basketball with Tralee Warriors. Their attendance will add a sense of pride and nostalgia to the celebrations.
Proceedings will get underway at 6.15pm with the awards presentations, followed by the first race at 7.40pm.
There will be plenty to keep younger attendees entertained, including inflatables, finger food, and a fun relay race featuring the club’s Under-12 boys’ and girls’ teams.
The night is sponsored by Verena, whose continued support for the club is greatly appreciated. The club also extends sincere thanks to all race and ad sponsors, whose contributions make events like this possible.
Tickets are priced at €10 for adults, with free entry for Under-12s. Adding to the excitement, the popular Buster draw will take place during the fifth race, giving one lucky winner the chance to walk away with €1,000.
