U6’s
Well, done to everyone today in tough conditions! All the players did really well in their first time trying to play a match amongst themselves. Keep up the practice.
U8 Girls
We had a good group of under 8 girls back for more small sided football match practice today. Well, done to Liala for showing great tenacity in the tackle & practicing her kicking. She earned the player of the week trophy this week.
Keep practicing ahead of our upcoming under 8 Go Games blitzes.
Thanks to Aisling and Aine for their help with fruit prep & clean up today. It is much appreciated especially while I am coaching. we would be very grateful if anyone else can help out for future weeks please let me Fiona know.
U12 Boys
Another super evening for our u12’s who travelled west to play Castlegregory in glorious sunshine where both teams put on an excellent display of football.
A big welcome to our newest team member Eoin who was outstanding in goals for us in his first match. We will train again on Thursday at 5:45pm.
U14 Boys
St Pats travelled to Spa Killarney for this County League clash, played on a superb pitch but with a strong wind blowing into one set of goals — a factor that had a major influence on the game.
Playing against the breeze in the first half, St Pats produced some excellent football. The ball was moved quickly through the hands, with great support play and runners breaking through Spa’s strong defence.
Goals from Cillian Enright, Noah Fealy and Darragh Murphy kept us in touch, but we were too soft in the tackle at times and conceded heavily, leaving the half-time score at Spa 4-6, St Pats 3-4.
Spa started the second half the stronger side, working harder and winning more of the breaking ball. Despite this, St Pats showed huge determination to stay in the game. Full Time: St Pats 5-12 Spa 5-11
We play at home to Ardfert in our next game on Tuesday 28th of April at 7.15pm.
U16 Boys
Our U16s travelled to Dingle last Thursday evening in Round 4 of the Central Region. Unfortunately, we were all far off the pace of what is required in the 1st half of the game as Dingle ramped up an impressive first half score. It is something we will take learning from and to the lad’s credit they came out in the 2nd half with a much-improved performance and skill, scoring 11pts.
Dingle played with great professionalism and closed off the game well in the latter stages. Some standout performances came from Padraig O’Connor, Jake Kelly, and Rylan Flynn.

St Pats came away with another win last weekend against Ballyduff, Fergal O’Brien scored the first of St Pats points. Opposition putting a two pointer for their scores. Three points from Fergal O’Brien, David O’Callaghan, and Darragh Murphy.
Ballyduff got another two pointer and three points during the first half. Three points came from David O’Callaghan, a two pointer from Fergal O’Brien, a point from Paudie Bailey from a 45 and Brian Murphy added another point to St Pats tally. St Pats 0-11 Ballyduff 0-07
Two two pointers and three points from Ballyduff allowed Ballyduff to get close to narrowing the gap between St Pats and themselves. Fergal O’Brien got a two pointer and two points from play, Darragh Murphy made himself known on the field by getting a point of his own with Brian Murphy getting St Pats decisive point of the game.
