Sponsored: Taking Care Of Skin Around The Eye Area

.

Mary O’Donnell of the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic on treatments for skin around the eye area…

The area around the eyes is so delicate and needs extra care and intention. The skin under your eyes can be up to 10 times thinner than the rest of your face.

Under eye wrinkles occur when the skin around the eyes becomes thinner and loses elasticity which can be accelerated by frequent sun exposure, smoking, repeated facial movements and certain genetic traits.

The primary cause of under eye lines is depleted levels of collagen. Collagen is fundamental in supporting the facial structure and responsible for keeping the skin youthful.

Most people concerns are lines under the eyes, crow’s feet, sunken eyes, increased darkness and puffiness and crinkling of the upper lid.

At CHRC we offer many solutions to help this delicate eye area. Lunchtime lift is a non-invasive eye treatment with immediate results.

It works on tightening the area and visibly approving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to achieve a noticeable lift. A course of treatments is recommended but you will see results after one treatment.

We also recommend our award-winning collagen drink Skinade which is also the world’s No.1 collagen drink that use six active ingredients to assist optimal skin function. CHRC is the only provider of Skinade in Kerry.

This peach and mangosteen flavoured drink boosts your body’s natural production of collagen and hyaluronic acid, improving your skin’s elasticity and youthful appearance in as little as thirty days.

We offer two eye care products from AlumierMD. The first product is AluminEye which is a rich cream that significantly improves the appearance of dark circles, fine lines and puffiness. It also contains light reflecting ingredients that immediately lightens the appearance of under eye darkness.

The second product is Alumier retinol eye gel which is microencapsulated anti-aging retinol that dramatically improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and firms the skin.

As it is microencapsulated this gel retinol is formulated especially for the delicate eye area. It is a slow release overnight, minimizing irritation and maximising effectiveness. This cream increases cell turnover and stimulates collagen production.

Sponsored: The AC Dual Treatment Available At Cosmetic And Hair Restoration Centre

.

Mary O’Donnell of the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic on the AC Dual Treatment for Acne…

Acne can be such a sore painful condition and I know how distressing a skin condition can be.

The most important thing with any condition is to make sure you are treating the right cause.

We always advise people to come into us at CHRC at Bon Secours and have a consultation and an examination of their skin before embarking on a treatment plan, tailored to target the cause of the issue.

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples.

Acne is most common among teenagers, though it affects people of all ages. Acne can be persistent but effective acne treatments are available, and technology has made this issue easier to manage for so many people.

At CHRC we recommend AC dual treatment for acne. The treatment utilises intense pulsed light (IPL) technology to deliver direct bursts of blue and red light, both with acne fighting capabilities, onto targeted areas of the skin.

The blue light targets and eliminates the bacteria causing acne, while the longer wavelength of the red light reduces inflammation on the targeted area.

Smartpulse technology ensures precise and consistent energy delivery is maintained throughout the course of treatment.

This is not an uncomfortable treatment; real time cooling feature detects the applicator temperature to maintain safety and comfort. The treatment takes approx. 20 minutes, and you can return to work straight away without any downtime. A course of treatments is recommended.

The result is skin that feels and looks healthier with a significantly clearer complexion. Breakouts caused by bacteria are eliminated, with no more “sore to the touch” acne related inflammation.

Sponsored: Mary’s Own Story Of Her Tribella Experience

.

Mary O’Donnell of the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours talks about her own Tribella story…

I think for me, the Tribella treatment ticked a lot of boxes.

It is time saving because it is three treatments in one session. It also addressed my numerous skin concerns!

I have rosacea, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, age spots, a scar and uneven skin tone and skin laxity. I think a lot of people would have similar issues.

The treatment itself is not like a facial but a non-invasive treatment with no surgery or needles involved which is why it appealed to me.

The first step feels like a hot stone massage and works on fine lines, wrinkles and laxity within the skin. This was my favourite part and I felt my skin was so much firmer and tighter afterwards.

Step two feels like an elastic band tipping the skin and it works on rosacea, pigmentation, skin tone and dark spots.

There is a gap for about ten minutes between each treatment to allow the skin time to recover and for the practitioner to change applicator.

The final step is a resurfacing treatment for uneven skin texture, that is amazing for collagen and elastin production which gives a lovely youthful and radiant glow to the skin.

My favourite part of the Tribella is that it keeps working after the treatment finishes, so you won’t see the full effects until about three months after your last treatment.

A total of three Tribella treatments are recommended with four weeks in between each session.

The Tribella treatment is available exclusively in Kerry at the CHRC, Bon Secours Hospital Tralee.

If you would like to achieve younger-looking skin without needles or surgery, give CHRC a call on 086 0786120 or email chrc@bonsecours.ie

Sponsored: Look Great This Summer With Treatment To Deal With ‘Bingo Wings’

.

Mary O’Donnell of the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours in Tralee on a non-surgical, skin-tightening treatment for ‘bingo wings’…

One area that a lot of females are conscious of is their upper arms, especially during the summer and they look for dresses that cover that upper arm area.

Wobbly upper arms or “bingo wings” are those flaps of skin that hang down and swing along with every arm movement. They can happen to anyone of any gender.

However, since men have an average of 10-15 percent more muscle mass, bingo wings primarily affect women starting at a younger age.

Bingo wings come from a combination of three problems: reduced muscle mass, excess fat and poor skin condition.

This lack of muscle mass contributes to the “bingo wing” look, because without strength and tone, the tissue in your upper arms will sag.

The upper arms can be helped with a skin tightening treatment in CHRC at the Bons Secours Tralee. It is F.D.A approved, painless, there is zero downtime and it is a non-surgical treatment.

For years, the main treatment for bingo wings had been surgery, which came with its risks such as pain, downtime and surgical scars.

Fortunately, this is not the case anymore with the CHRC non-surgical skin tightening procedure, powered by innovative technology which rejuvenates the appearance of the skin safely and comfortably by heating the tissue under the skin’s surface.

This triggers the natural production of collagen and elastin, the key building blocks of healthy, youthful skin. The result is an effortlessly tighter, smoother and younger-looking skin.

Book a consultation with CHRC and we can tell you the amount of treatments needed to get your arms looking their best in sleeveless dresses. Contact us at chrc@bonsecours.ie or phone 086 0786120.

Sponsored: Protecting Your Skin As The Sun Arrives This Spring

.

Mary O’Donnell on the medical-grade sunscreens available at the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours in Tralee to protect your skin as the sun arrives this spring…

WE have had a great week of sunshine and we are starting to feel the warmth coming through!

While sunshine will give us some much needed vitamin D, we all know that time spent in the sun makes our skin age faster than normal, evidenced by wrinkles and pigmentation.

To protect your skin, I recommend applying sunscreen to your face every day, all year long, 365 days a year.

At CHRC here at Bon Secours, we stock medical-grade sunscreens that are paraben and sulfate free.

My favourite is award-winning Sheer Hydration Broad Spectrum SPF 40, a sheer physical sunscreen that provides powerful broad-spectrum protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays.

It uses a combination of zinc oxide, titanium dioxide and moisturising vitamin E and is packed with free-radical-quenching antioxidants, including a stable vitamin C, resveratrol, grape seed extract and glutathione.

It is available with or without a tint. The versatile tint blends beautifully on the skin creating a sheer healthy glow.

In preparation for summer, and in anticipation of getting into the summer wardrobe, we have more and more people coming into the clinic to treat pigmentation on their arms, hands, faces and décolleté, to return freckled, sun damaged skin to brighter, clearer skin.

Our Versa Intense Pulse Light photo-facial uses a broad spectrum of light to target pigmentation. This non invasive treatment will improve sun damage, uneven skin tone, and hyperpigmentation with minimal downtime and discomfort.

Our IPL photo facial works to address brown and red discoloration because its spectrum of light causes minimal injury to the thickness of the epidermis but targets pigmentation and broken capillaries at its base.

These pigment and vascular structures absorb particular wavelengths of light, which allows damage only to the unwanted discoloration leaving the rest of the skin intact. The process allows minimal side effects and minimal downtime and leaves you with brighter, clearer-looking skin.

To find out more about how to prepare your skin for summer, contact us at CHRC at chrc@bonsecours.ie or 086 0786120.

Sponsored: Non-Invasive Venus Treatments At Cosmetic And Hair Restoration Clinic

.

Mary O’Donnell describes the non-surgical, non-invasive, safe and comfortable Venus treatments at the  Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours in Tralee…

A recent survey by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery found that 86% of people are bothered by excess weight on their body.

We all want results, but without the pain and downtime that comes with surgery. People are looking more and more to non-invasive procedures.

With summer on the way, many people are looking at skin tightening as a way to get ready for holidays or just to work on certain areas of the body when exercise alone simply isn’t helping.

At CHRC at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, our Venus treatments are a non-surgical, non-invasive, safe and comfortable way to naturally firm and tone your skin.

We use advanced radio frequency technology to tighten the skin and reduce circumferences to contour the body. The applicator has a deep effect on the tissue; skin will be firmer and smoother.

A course of treatments is recommended and treatment time is usually 30 minutes.

The area will feel quite warm and will stay that way for up to two hours after your treatment.

Areas that can be treated are abdomen, thighs and other problem areas. A lot of people go to sleep during the treatment as it can be very relaxing after a busy day!

To find out more about the best treatment for you, contact the CHRC on 086-0786120 for more information. Email:chrc@bonsecours.ie.

Sponsored: Treatments For Acne At The Cosmetic And Hair Restoration Clinic

.

Mary O’Donnell on the AC Dual treatment for acne available at the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours Tralee…

Acne has become a very persistent skin condition since mask wearing became a necessity during the pandemic.

It occurs when the hair follicles become blocked with oil and dead cells, causing whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. Acne is most common among teenagers, though it affects people of all ages.

Aside from the physical effects of acne, the condition can also have an impact on emotional and psychological well-being.

At CHRC we have a treatment called AC Dual that uses IPL to simultaneously address both the cause and the visible symptoms of acne.

This is a dual light treatment-blue light targets acne causing bacteria, leading to the destruction of the bacteria.

The red light controls inflammation and promotes faster healing. AC Dual can also treat the chest and back area.

There is no downtime and the treatment is quick and comfortable. The sensation is that of an elastic band touching the skin. A built in cooling system makes the treatment very comfortable.

Treatment time is normally 20 minutes; the number of treatments will depend on the individual but typically 6-12 treatments are required.

Sponsored: Skin Health Checks Available In CHRC At Bon Secours

.

Mary O’Donnell on the Skin Health Checks service available at the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours in Tralee…

Thanks to all who visited our CHRC stand at the Future Beauty Expo in the RDS last weekend!

We had great interest in our skin health checks, now available to everyone who comes to CHRC for a skin consultation.

Skin health checks allow us to view and analyse your skin health from the deepest layer to the surface.

We use the principle of skin fluorescence to optically examine your skin health at a deeper level; any skin conditions can be easily identified and visualised for you using true UV light.

Our skin analysis allows you to see your skin’s textural topography, shows common skin tone irregularities including sun damage, pigmentation, melisma and dehydration.

Causes of redness and visible facial flushing can be shown up, as well as wrinkles, pore health and fine lines.

It is a valuable tool to see what is deep in the dermis; once any issues are diagnosed, we will put together a bespoke treatment plan with you to address your concerns.

For example, for sun damage and pigmentation, a course of IPL (intense pulsed light) is very effective, followed by daily use of SPF.

Congested skin and open pores issues can benefit from a tailored homecare skin regime.

For a consultation with skin analysis please contact Nicole on: 086 0786120, email chrc@bonsecours.ie or visit https://bonsecourschrc.ie/

Sponsored: The Amazing Benefits Of Skinade Available From CHRC

.

Mary O’Donnell on the collagen supplement, Skinade, available at the Cosmetic Hair and Restoration Centre at the Bon Secours in Tralee…

As we age, collagen depletes and we lack that lovely plumpness to our skin. So it is a good idea to put the collagen back in – via a supplement.

Collagen is a critical part of the structure of the dermis and it is what gives our skin its plumpness.

As we age, from our early twenties we loose collagen at the rate of 1.5% per year. This loss results in wrinkles, fine lines, dry, blemished and thinning skin.

Victoria Beckham (who knows a thing or two about skin!) takes a collagen supplement, Skinade, to keep her skin looking youthful and glowing. CHRC at Bon Secours Tralee is the exclusive provider of Skinade in Kerry.

Skinade is a drink that supports and nourishes the skin, not just on your face, but all over your body, working from the inside out to rebuild your collagen matrix below the skin surface. It boosts hydration and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Drinking Skinade regularly gives you a firmer, more even toned, hydrated, radiant , youthful and healthier looking skin.

It contains collagen peptides and Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, lysine and omega 3&6 and as well as working on your skin, it will also work on healthier and faster growing hair and nails.

All you need to do is take this drink daily. I recommend taking it, chilled, in the morning; wait to see the amazing results! For any skin care queries or to find out more about Skinade, contact chrc@bonsecours.ie

Sponsored: Effective Moisturisers For Sensitive Skin At The CHRC

.

Mary O’Donnell of the Cosmetic Hair and Restoration Clinic on some effective moisturisers available at the clinic…

One of my most asked questions is “can you recommend a moisturiser for sensitive skin?”

Before identifying the best moisturiser for you, at CHRC our first step is always to analyse your skin to identify what might be causing your skin sensitivity and identify the best treatment for this. Overly dry skin can lead to skin reactions.

Excessive exposure to skin-damaging environmental factors such as sun and wind or excessive heat or cold can also be a factor. I can’t overemphasise the importance of wearing a good SPF all year round!

If you are trying a new moisturiser, and your skin is highly sensitive, we often recommend that you test it first.

At CHRC, HydraCalm from Alumier, our medical grade-skin care range, is a soothing and rich moisturiser loaded with antioxidants and calming ingredients.

Perfect for anyone with sensitive skin, it calms and soothes and relieves redness and irritation.

HydraCalm contains sea whip, an excellent ingredient for redness-prone and sensitive skin, intensely nourishing and hydrating.

HydraCalm contains low molecular weight hyaluronic acid which draws water into the skin, making skin plumper, softer and smoother.

This amazing product also contains redness -relieving peptides and the calming qualities of honey to soothe irritation, redness and puffiness. It can be used both in the morning and the evening for face, neck and décolleté.

Sponsored: All You Need To Know About Hair Restoration At The CHRC

.

Mary O’Donnell on what you need to know about hair restoration at the Cosmetic and Hair Restoriation Clinic at the Bon Secours in Tralee…

If I am concerned about hair loss, what is the first step?

There are both medical and surgical treatments to reduce hair loss for men and for women and we will arrange a consult for you to discuss the FDA approved treatments we provide at CHRC that may best suit you.

How long is a consultation?

30 mins to an hour or however long it needs to be to talk about what has been done already, how long the problem has been occurring, what is causing it, your family’s history of hair loss and what you would like to do about it.

For you, this might be a medical intervention or a surgical intervention. We will discuss your expectation and the best treatment plan for you.

What does the surgical treatment involve?

Effectively this involves hair redistribution: moving tiny hair follicles from one area, where they will quickly regrow, to another area where it will replace lost hair.

At CHRC we use a robotic system, ARTAS iX, so the procedure is minimally invasive and precision is optimised to give the best results.  The results are completely natural looking.

How long does it take?

The amount of time depends on the area that needs to be covered.  Typically, the procedure can take 6-8 hours, over the course of 1 day.

Is it painful, what is the downtime?

This is not a painful procedure and you won’t need pain medication after the procedure. You can return to work almost immediately. How quickly depends on you and your job and we will discuss this at your consultation.

• Contact CHRC to arrange your consultation appointment and discuss the best option for you via email chrc@bonsecours.ie or click here to go their website

Sponsored: Treating Acne Scars, Pigmentation And Fine Lines At The CHRC

.

Mary O’Donnell of the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours in Tralee says there is a treatment available there to treat acne scars…

At CHRC we have the perfect non-invasive treatment to work naturally to treat skin concerns including acne scars, pigmentation and fine lines.

Our advanced treatment triggers the production of collagen and elastin to diminish textural irregularities and other signs of skin damage.

Our treatment combines nano-fractional and SmartScan technologies to refine the skin without the discomfort and downtime of a laser treatment.

Minuscule wounds are created in the skin to transmit energy into the deeper layers of the skin.

When the body’s natural healing mechanism kicks in to repair these tiny wounds, fibroblasts are triggered which increase collagen and elastin production and improve the signs of damage visible on the skin surface.

Three to six treatments may be required depending on your concerns, four weeks apart for each treatment.

After the first sessions, you will notice you have a naturally smoother, more radiant, and healthier-looking complexion that lasts.

This is a safe rejuvenation option for people who want results with very little downtime, performed to the highest standards at the Bon Secours.

To find a treatment plan that works for you, contact us at CHRC for a one to one consultation with one of expert team. To find out more click here.

Mary O’Donnell on the medical skin care range at the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours in Tralee to deal with ‘Macne’…

ACNE due to mask wearing (“Macne”) has become a problem for people of all ages, it’s not just a teenage issue.

This skin condition occurs when follicles become blocked with oil and dead skin. Acne can cause whiteheads, blackheads and spots.

It looks like masks will be with us for a while so my top tip is to invest in a good cleanser.

At CHRC here at Bon Secours, Alumier, our medical grade skincare range is formulated with a clinically validated percentage of active ingredients, well documented by scientific studies to have a positive impact on your skin.

This means you will see results which you have always craved in as little as six to eight weeks. I highly recommend Acne Clarifying Cleanser as your first step to help with acne.

This cleanser contains salicylic acid to deep cleanse pores and exfoliate dead skin cells. It is oil-soluble, allowing it to penetrate into the pores and effectively exfoliate dead skin cells thus controlling acne blemishes.

It also prevents new breakouts soothing and relieving irritation, leaving the skin feeling fresh, soft and supple.

The New Year is the perfect time to check in with your skin-care routine and reassess how your habits may be helping (or harming) your skin.

It’s been shown that consistent use of sunscreen has the greatest impact in preventing accelerated aging and skin cancers.

I would love for everyone to make a commitment to wearing sunscreen every day of 2022 as part of their morning routine, even in these winter months.

That said, New Year resolutions are easy to make on January 1, and more difficult to sustain throughout the year.

A kick start in your skin care that shows results from 1 treatment may help you to sustain your best intentions throughout 2022.

One of Harley Street’s most popular treatments, the ‘Tribella’ is now available in Tralee in CHRC at the Bon Secours Hospital.

This award-winning treatment is the latest in non-invasive treatments for smoother, clearer and younger looking skin.

It is a complete facial rejuvenation therapy which combines the power of three unique treatments over one 1.5 hour session.

We are all different and so the number of sessions required will depend on the individual.

The FDA approved treatment works on fine lines and wrinkles. It also has amazing results on age spots and uneven skin texture.

The first step of Tribella is IPL, which will work on pigmentation and redness or both.

The result is glowing, younger-looking skin. Second step is skin tightening with amazing results on skin laxity and diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The final step of Tribella, skin resurfacing, naturally boosts collagen and elastin production for total skin renewal.

Allow the next day for downtime as the skin must be kept completely dry for 24 hours; no water or makeup or creams on the skin, so early in the week is great for this treatment if you have weekend plans.

The New Year is here and so is the time for taking up new resolutions! With the Omicron variant spreading rapidly around the world, the focus on health is increasing like never before.

If there’s anything that we’ve learned in 2021, it’s not to take our health for granted; in 2022, a renewed focus on our own lifestyles and priorities may be top of mind.

With gyms limiting access to ensure social distancing and safety, it has become a more difficult task to keep one’s weight in check.

At CHRC we can work with you to get one step closer to your body goals with one of our non-surgical body treatments to reduce cellulite, tighten skin and reduce fat from problem areas.

To tighten and reduce circumference at the waist, thighs and arms, we use advanced FDA approved technology to safely and comfortably deliver energy below the skin surface in a 20 minute session to create a slimmer figure with more defined shape.

This non-surgical non-invasive treatment uses radio frequency technology to rejuvenate the appearance of skin by triggering the natural production of your own collagen and elastin.

The treatment selectively breaks down fat cells which are naturally eliminated through the body.

This is a very comfortable session; our clients, including Elaine Burrows who you read about in our last feature, compare it to a hot stone massage. Ideal for a lunch time lift!

To find out if this treatment is for you, book a one to one consultation with one of our practitioners.

We will discuss your body goals with you and talk you through a bespoke treatment plan to understand what will work best for you.  Each treatment focuses on different areas of the body.

Cellulite reduction treatments activate your body’s natural collagen and elastin to target cellulite and improve the appearance of bumps and dimpling.

Fat reduction is for stubborn pockets of fat on the waist, back and abdomen. Skin tightening is for problem area such as the stomach, thighs, back fat and upper arms.

Where it would be helpful, we can even team you up with one of our CORU registered dieticians or physios to make a diet or exercise plan that could compliment your treatment.

Consultation is the first step of your journey to make sure your treatment is bespoke for you. Contact us at Email Chrc@bonsecours.ie Phone: 086-0786120. Happy new year to all!

Sponsored: Hair Treatments For Men And Women At The Cosmetic And Hair Restoration Clinic

.

Mary O’Donnell of the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours Hospital in Tralee on the hair treatments available for men and women at the clinic…

Male pattern baldness refers to a loss of hair on the scalp in men.

It happens as hormone levels change over a man’s lifetime, and especially in the later years. It is thought to affect 50 million men in the United States, and half of all men by the age of 50 years.

Men normally lose their hair when three main factors interact: genetics, age, and hormones. Also known as androgenetic alopecia, male-pattern baldness happens as hormone levels change over the course of a man’s life.

Genetic factors also affect the likelihood of male-pattern baldness. These factors contribute to the gradual shrinkage of the tiny cavities in the skin at the base of hairs, known as scalp hair follicles.

Hair grows progressively shorter and finer until no new hairs grow. Male pattern baldness, or androgenetic alopecia, typically occurs later in life as a result of changing hormone levels.

Hair loss can be psychologically distressing for men, and they may seek a variety of treatments.

Many women suffer from hair loss.

The causes are more complex than those in men. Female hair loss can be as a result of female pattern hair loss, scarring, an underlying health condition or a dermatological condition.

Sponsored: Treatments To Make Your Hands Look More Youthful

.

Beauty expert, Mary O’Donnell, on skin treatments for your hands available at the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours in Tralee…

From constant use of hand sanitiser, we are looking at our hands more than ever. They are drier and we are seeing imperfections.

Some of us are seeing ageing features appear and are looking for them to disappear. The salon and Spa industry in Ireland contributes €540 million annually to the Irish economy.

A huge portion of this is the nail industry. We want our hands to look good, not just our nails.

Hands are exposed to wind, rain, sun and water and as a result they age faster than any other part of our body.

We use our hands to do so many things, tie shoes, open jars, drive, cook and clean. So now maybe is the time to look after our digits .

As we age, our hands lose fat and elasticity and skin loses volume. This reduced volume and decreased elasticity produces translucent skin that wrinkles and develops age spots.

We now have two non-invasive treatments in the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic to help hands look more youthful.

First is ‘Diamond Polar’ which helps with skin tightening  and this is ideal for skin that is beginning to show the signs of sagging. This combines radio frequency and pulsed electro-magnetic fields.

A course is recommended but results can be seen after one. The treatments are cumulative and after your last treatment the skin will continue to improve for up to three to four months.

Maintenance is required as we continue to age. Every season a top-up is required, or up to the individual requirements.

For the age spots, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a very successful treatment. A course is recommended and at first, the pigment will go darker before it starts to fade .

This treatment is very effective, but SPF is recommended to stop new pigment forming or activating the old treated pigment.

Alumier do an award-winning SPF that is recommended for daily use after treatment and to continue daily.

Younger looking hands are now available at your fingertips by contacting the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic by clicking here.

If you are looking for a good boost to your skin for Christmas, Skinade maybe your answer. I have been a fan for years and really see find it gives the skin a lovely glow .

Skinade is a collagen supplement, loved by glowing celebrities like Victoria Beckham , Millie Macintosh,Emma Louise Connolly, Jen Atkin and Frankie Gaff to name but a few.

Skinade is a drink that supports the skin all over your body. It works from the inside out to rebuild your collagen matrix below the skin surface.

It boots hydration and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. As we age , we loose collagen at the rate of 1.5% per year from our early twenties. This loss results in wrinkles , fine lines , dry, blemished and thinning skin.

Collagen is a critical part of the structure of the dermis and gives our skin its plumpness. Drinking skinade results in firmer more even toned, hydrated, radiant , youthful and healthier looking skin.

It contains collagen peptides and Vitamin B complex , Vitamin C , lysine and omega 3&6. As well as working on your skin, it will also work on healthier and faster growing hair and nails.

Skinade is available in the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic for €130, where you can reserve your skinade for you or someone special.
