Tralee Ladies Senior Cup 2024

It is with great pride and joy that we can report to all our members that our Ladies Senior Cup team were victorious in the Munster West Golf Ireland AIG Sponsored Finals at Castletroy last weekend securing a Munster West pennant.

We commenced the weekend with an epic battle against our near neighbours Killarney GC winning 3 matches to 2, with the final match finishing on the 18th ending in victory to take us through to the final on Sunday.

Our team was Mary Sheehy, Caitlin Shippam, Lucy Grattan, Ella Moynihan, Emma Leahy
Subs: Kaelin O’Keeffe, Emma Morrissey, Emma Vinarcik.

On Sunday afternoon, we faced defending All Ireland Champions Lahinch and what ensued was yet again more fantastic matches with excellent golf played by all our team under the most intense pressure cauldron that comes with being in finals.

Our team was Kaelin O’Keeffe , Caitlin Shippam, Lucy Grattan ,Ella Moynihan, Emma Leahy.
Subs: Mary Sheehy, Emma Morrissey.

All matches were played in the true spirit of how golf should be played and Tralee
came out on top with a victorious on a scoreline of 3-2.

Inter Club Teams, July 10th 2024

Congratulations to our Mens’ Pierce Purcell team managed by Teddy Reynolds and Brendan Kenny beat a fancied Kanturk team on Saturday at Ballyneety and again travelled to Ballyneety on Sunday to take on  Dromoland GC . The team had a tremendous victory on the 18th hole to secure a Munster West pennant.
