The General Manager of Kerry Mental Health Association, John Drummey, said; “Another exciting year of Office Chair Racing is set to bring fun and entertainment to Tralee as one of our key annual fundraising events.
“Funds raised will help support people across the county experiencing mental health challenges, along with their families and carers.
“The proceeds will contribute towards the delivery of free and affordable Mental Health First Aid courses, as well as therapeutic arts and crafts workshops, transport services, and recovery-focused activities in day centres and community settings throughout Kerry.
“Continued support from local schools and the organisers of the Tralee Food Festival plays an important role in making this event possible each year, and it is greatly appreciated.”
Ken Tobin from the Tralee Food Festival Organising Team said; “This marks our fourth year partnering with Kerry Mental Health Association as our chosen charity partner.
“Through this ongoing collaboration, we are proud to support the organisation’s important work while encouraging the links between healthy eating, physical activity, enjoyment, and overall well-being.”
Volunteers will be collecting for Kerry Mental Health Association at the key Tralee Food Festival venues over the weekend giving customers an opportunity to donate towards the charity.
