“Congratulations to Dan for writing a timely, useful and compassionate book for the self-employed community that acknowledges that ambition and vulnerability can coexist, and that resilience is something we can actively build.”
“We are especially grateful that proceeds from the book will support Kerry Mental Health Association.”
Dan O’Donoghue, who is originally from Valentia Island, said: “This is not another feel-good business book, it’s a lifeline complete with hard-earned lessons from the real world without the classroom theory.
“The self-employed employ most of the workforce, yet because we don’t shout, protest or complain, we are often the ones left alone. I am delighted to donate the proceeds to Kerry Mental Health Association who share many of the key messages in the book to connect with others, stay active, prioritise sufficient sleep, and never be afraid to ask for help.”
Self-Employed: The Forgotten Community, published by Orla Kelly Publications, is available from https://buythebook.ie/product/self-employed-the-forgotten-community/ for €20 plus postage/packaging.
