Tralee Bay Wetlands and the Lakeside Cafe are both up for awards..TRALEE Bay Wetlands Ecology & Activity Park is officially shortlisted as a finalist for the ‘Best Day Out’ category at the seventh Great Irish Hospitality Awards 2026.
The nomination places the popular Tralee destination alongside major national attractions such as Dublin Zoo and Fota Wildlife Park.
This recognition follows a year of significant milestones for the park, which continues to lead in biodiversity and eco-tourism within the Kingdom.

Adding to the celebration, The Lakeside Café at Tralee Bay Wetlands has also been shortlisted for ‘Best Family Dining’ at the same awards, marking a double success for the team.
The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on this Thursday, April 23, at the Clayton Hotel, Liffey Valley in Dublin.
