Last year 474 people took part and €5,000 was donated. This year organiser Michelle Greaney wants more people, more companies and most importantly, more money raised for Kerry Hospice Foundation Palliative Care Unit.
This year’s race will take place on Sunday, November 8 at 11am from The Rose Hotel.
“Last year’s biggest Corporate team (SMBC) had 52 runners taking part and I am challenging Kerry businesses to beat that,” said Michelle.

“TLI Group is already aiming to challenge that number. As primary sponsor and now with a workforce of 1000, TLI Group is leading the way in terms of putting their workforce into action and always placing a big emphasis on corporate employee health and wellbeing, morale and workplace culture,” she said.
“Sponsorship is hugely important to an event like this. There are significant costs involved in putting on a professionally organised road race from medical cover and insurance to race infrastructure, timing, medals, custom t shirts and all the logistics that people perhaps don’t see on the day,” added Michelle.
“The support of sponsors like TLI Group is what allows us to deliver the event to a high standard while also keeping the entry fees accessible and, importantly, allowing us to support Kerry Hospice Foundation.”
The event is open to both corporate and individual entries, new runners and competitive.
Medals and t shirt for each participant and custom trophies for fastest male and female teams. Custom trophy for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the individual category also.
Entry Fees are 5K Individual – €25 5K Team (4) – €100; 10K Individual – €35 10K Team (4) – €140.
