The AIMS Awards celebrate excellence in musical theatre throughout Ireland and recognise the outstanding achievements of societies across the country.

The nominations recognise the outstanding work, creativity and dedication of the entire production team, cast, crew and volunteers who brought the spectacular show to life on stage.

This year’s recognition is particularly meaningful as Tralee Musical Society celebrates its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of bringing musical theatre to audiences throughout Kerry and beyond.

Speaking ahead of the awards ceremony, Emma Quirke, PRO of Tralee Musical Society, said: “To receive three AIMS Award nominations for our production of The Prince of Egypt is an incredible honour. As the Irish premiere of such a powerful and visually stunning musical, this production held special significance for our society, and we are immensely proud of everyone who played a part in its success.”

“These nominations are a reflection of the hard work, commitment and talent shown by our cast, creative team, musicians, backstage crew and volunteers. Every person involved contributed to creating something truly special, and we are delighted to see that effort recognised on a national stage.”

“Whatever the outcome, being nominated in three categories is a fantastic achievement for Tralee Musical Society. We are excited for the weekend ahead, proud to represent Kerry on the national stage, and looking forward to celebrating all that has been achieved during this very special anniversary year.”
