Good Luck Tralee Schools Senior Hurlers:
Good luck to the 3 Tralee Schools who are seeking to have 3 out of 4 semi-final places in the last 4 of the Munster GAA Post Primary Schools E competition.

There are Tralee Parnells minors and under 16s playing across  all 3 panels and we as a club wish them all the Best of Luck.

The Munster Under 19 E Hurling Cup Competition began in the 2017/2018 season and has been hugely beneficial for the ongoing development and progress of hurling in Tralee town and the surrounding areas where these players are drawn from.

The 2018 final saw an unprecedented lineup of 2 Tralee schools playing a Munster Final as a local derby, with Mercy Mounthawk facing off last year against CBS The Green.  CBS went on to win in 2018 while the 2o17 winners were Mount Sion of Waterford.  Both of these past winners are again involved in the 2019 later stages.

The next scheduled fixtures are:-
Mon 25th Nov 19 at 12:00, Gaelcholaiste Chiarrai V Mount Sion CBS Post Primary.
Fri 29th Nov 19 at 12:30, Mercy Mounthawk V Waterpark College Waterford.
Wed 4th Dec 19 at 12:30, Coláiste Mhuire Cobh V Tralee CBS.Exciting times indeed, for Senior Schools Hurling in Tralee.

Club Social Night 7th Dec:
Time for the senior Hurlers and Camogie players, Club Managers, Coaches and Parents to let their hair down and enjoy a night out on the 7th of December in a mystery location.  A 50 seater bus has been booked so reserve your place on the link on Parnells social media. €10 to confirm your place must be dropped to Ronan Gilsenan (Tech Co located just off the square in Tralee) and write your name on the envelope.
Bus leaves Tralee at 7.30pm and returns at 1am.

Strength and Conditioning Strong Start:
We saw great numbers and enthusiasm as we started into our 2019 winter Strength and Conditioning Programme.  We welcomed players (including new adults, and juveniles born 2006 or earlier), coaches and parents, in partnership with Coach Diarmuid Brennan, Mondays and Fridays, beginning November 18 and 22, Sports Hall @ CBS The Green.  Judging by some of the online feedback in some of the social channels, those on the senior side of 40 found it a bit more difficult to cope with the muscles that did not want to climb stairs or take on to much strenuous challenges in the days after session 1. But we are assured that it gets easier each week and will all be worth it, after completing the full programme.
