State of Mind Ireland was originally set up by psychotherapist Dr Lawlor and her late brother Dr. Martin Lawlor.
Nominations for the Female Founder awards were invited across a wide range of award categories, designed to reflect the breadth, innovation and impact of female founders across Ireland and Northern Ireland with the awards receiving up to 98,000 votes across the different categories.
“This award is dedicated to my late mother, Noreen, whose strength, love, and unwavering belief in me shaped the woman I am today, and to my brother, Dr. Martin, whose light, guidance, and inspiration continue to carry me forward every single day,” said Dr Lawlor.
“Though they are no longer physically beside me, their presence lives within everything I do. They remain my greatest inspiration, my driving force, and my shining lights above — reminding me to keep going, keep believing, and keep striving to make them proud. This moment is as much theirs as it is mine,” she added.
