THERE was a buzz of anticipation on Denny Street before the festival headliners Union J took the stage on Friday night.
Young people from far and near came to sample the live experience of one of the hottest boybands around at the moment. Friday night of the festival has been the night when most of the big acts down the years have played and this year was no exception.
Fans were treated to such hits as, ‘Carry You’, ‘Tonight’ and ‘Loving You Easy’. The band from England shot to fame after appearing in the 2012 series of X-Factor where they fell under the wing of Louis Walsh.
Also there on the night to support Union J were, Ryan Dolan and Taken.
