Members of the Scotia Ensemble.MUSIC lovers from across Kerry and beyond are invited to an unforgettable evening of song and community, at Voices from the Friary, a special charity concert taking place on Sunday, 24 May at 8:00 PM in The Friary, Killarney.
Come join the voices of Kerry Concert Choir to raise the roof of the Friary in aid of St. Francis Special School, a school dedicated to providing education and support to children with special educational needs in the local community.
Audiences can look forward to a rich and varied programme of choral music spanning a wide range of musical genres, from classical favourites to contemporary selections.
“Voices from the Friary is an opportunity for the community to come together through music to support a truly worthwhile cause and we are delighted to showcase such talented performers while raising much-needed funds for St. Francis Special School.” said the event-organisers.
The evening will also include special performances by Sharon Lyons and the Kerry Scotia Ensemble who have performed all over Ireland and Europe over the last number of years.
They have once again been invited to the Between Worlds Festival in Germany, organised by world renowned countertenor Nils Wanderer who is currently performing at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Audiences will be treated to a preview of some of their programme for the festival.
In addition to the concert, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a raffle, which will feature a hamper worth over €100 and many more wonderful prizes.

All profits from ticket sales and all proceeds from the raffle will go directly to St. Francis Special School, helping to enhance resources and opportunities for students and ensuring they continue to receive the highest quality of care and education.
