NORMALLY the last Saturday of November sees the CH parade and the switching on of the Christmas light bring thousands to the town creating a wonderful festive atmosphere and officially kicking off Christmas in Tralee.
But this isn’t a normal time. Instead, a week earlier than usual, the Lights were switched on in an online ceremony tonight by the Mayor of Tralee, Cllr Terry O’Brien.
A video has just been uploaded to the Kerry County Council and Tralee Chamber Alliance social media platforms and it’s well worth a look below. Hopefully we’ll see shops opening again soon and people will be able to enjoy the spectacular lights while supporting local businesses.
