Storm Boelo To Bring More Heavy Rain To Kerry As Status Orange Warning Issued

.

WHILE STORM Austen has passed, this morning Met Eireann issued another Status Orange rain warning for Kerry.

This time it’s Storm Boelo set to bring spells of very heavy and intense rain to the county Saturday morning from 7am to 2pm.

Met Eireann says it’s possible there could be disruption and delays to public transport (rail, bus), flooding and outdoor events severely disrupted.

Before the Orange warning, Kerry will be under a Yellow rain warning from 4am on Saturday which ends at 3pm.

As well as the rain, there’s also a Status Yellow wind warning coming into effect, just as the rain warning comes to an end in Kerry. This warning is in effect from Saturday at 1pm to 12 noon on Sunday.

Don’t despair though. Today will see some dry and sunny weather (if on the chilly side) with the chance of the odd heavy shower. While Saturday is largely wet, Sunday will be mainly dry but there will be some showers.
