THERE was a large attendance in The Rose Hotel this morning for the latest Tralee Chamber Breakfast Briefing.
This Breakfast Briefing, sponsored through SME Partnership with AIB, featured Oliver Mangan, AIB Chief Economist.
He discussed a number of topics, including the Global Economy including Irish impacts; The Irish Economy and Outlook; Exchange Rates Outlook; Interest Rate Outlook and afterwards took questions from the assembled.
The morning also included a presentation from bike rental service, Like Bikes – Greenways Cycle Hire.
TRALEE Chamber has announced that their next Breakfast Briefing will take place on Tuesday, May 16 at 8:30am in The Rose Hotel.
This briefing, sponsored through SME Partnership with AIB, will be with Oliver Mangan, AIB Chief Economist with Q&A time included.
Oliver Mangan has worked as an economist in financial markets since 1990, first for Davy Stockbrokers until 1996, and then in AIB Treasury. He has been Chief Economist with AIB since 2012.

THE final Tralee Chamber Breakfast Briefing of 2022 in association with AIB will focus on customer experience, just in time for Christmas shopping season.
On Tuesday November 8th, Maura O’Neill Lynch of Nudge Sales Training will discuss the importance of understanding customers.
Maura’s business background includes a wealth of experience in banking, B2B and recruitment. Maura also has extensive experience working in the retail sector, including eight years with Brown Thomas in Dublin.

Killarney native and Irish Paralympian Jordan Lee, who led Ireland out into the Olympic Stadium at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, will also be speaking on the morning .

A SPECIAL breakfast event was held in Ballygarry House Hotel on Wednesday morning to inform business about the possible implications of Brexit.
The AIB-sponsored breakfast briefing saw experts from the bank discuss market developments following the Brexit vote and the outcome of the US Election, what lies ahead, and some practical steps businesses can make to manage currency risks.
The UK’s pathway to Brexit remains uncertain, particularly following the recent ruling of the UK High Court that Parliament must approve the triggering of Article 50.
Speakers – including John Fahey, AIB Senior Economist and Paul Ward, Senior Treasury Relationship Manager, AIB – helped inform those present to assist their business decision making in the months ahead.
